Join Vale Community Impact in celebrating the Great Big Green Week 2026
The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature, running Saturday 6th – Sunday 14th June 2026
Run by the national campaigning organisation The Climate Coalition, The Great Big Green Week is an annual event bringing people together to unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet.
This is the sixth year that Oxfordshire has thrown itself into the campaign. Throughout the week and over two weekends, there will be a vibrant programme of events, from garden open days and planting events to litter picking, talks and films, climate cafes and workshops, all with the aim of uniting residents, businesses, and organisations in a shared vision for a greener future. https://www.cagoxfordshire.org.uk/great-big-green-week
