Job Opportunity – Vale Community Impact is recruiting !

As the majority of our income is from grants and fundraising, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated fundraiser with great people skills to action our grant requests and be instrumental in future fundraising activities.  This role will require accuracy especially with grant applications, creativity, flexibility and the ability to develop high quality communications, including materials and messages for all fundraising activities, in order to increase support for us.

The second part of the role will be to manage our publicity and marketing across a range of platforms, including the internet and social media.  This has primarily been managed by volunteers previously but with our recent name change we are looking to make this a formal role and therefore of a professional standard.

The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to work well on their own as well as part of the team.

This is a new position for VCI so it is difficult to give an exact description of the role as we feel it will develop once the successful applicant starts.
